Job Title: Assistant Director of Children's Programs

Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Service in delivering exceptional experiences for the children in our care. You will work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to create enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program. These may include but are not limited to engaging activities, events, and programs designed to promote learning, creativity, and social skills.

You will also support the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, you will interact with parents and guardians to provide information and support whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Service in developing and implementing programs that meet the needs of children in our care.
  • Support the creation and delivery of engaging activities and events that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Interact with parents and guardians to provide information and support whenever possible.
  • Engage with the school community by attending events and assemblies when necessary.
  • Play and engage with primary school-aged children in a fun and supportive environment.
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.
