Project Planning Lead

The Project Planning Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the Integrated Engineering Project Office within the RDA development team.


About the Team

This position will collaborate closely with a variety of internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Finance and Program Management Office.


Key Accountabilities

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the coordination of Integrated Engineering project plans to ensure resource, finance and schedule completeness;
  • Developing and maintaining the planning strategy to ensure efficiency within the engineering environment;
  • Implementation of workflows to effectively integrate all engineering planning data; and
  • Cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a collaborative environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, IT, Engineering, Business or a related field;
  • Proven experience in managing data related to planning and scheduling in an engineering development environment;
  • Excellent understanding of project planning, including familiarity with management tools related to scheduling, estimating, activity modeling and budget control;
  • Ability to drive, influence and implement changing work practices and behaviors with a passion for continuous improvement;
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
