Job Overview

A Construction Manager at a leading company is responsible for coordinating the technical and administrative aspects of construction project delivery. Key duties include:

  • Managing daily site operations, supporting technical coordination, and contributing to planning and procurement.
  • Overseeing project documentation, assisting with subcontractor engagement, and driving construction quality through inspections and reporting.
  • Collaborating with engineers, other consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design issues, manage technical queries, and ensure construction activities are delivered as specified.
  • Mentoring junior team members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction engineering on high-value projects.
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, sequencing, buildability, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and interface with consultants, site teams, and suppliers.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, cost control, and contract administration.
