Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment primarily to community-based children and adolescents, with occasional involvement with admitted patients.
  • Offer clinical governance and leadership for the Mental Health Service.
  • Foster and promote a culture of person-centered, equitable, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused service delivery.
About the Service

This is a specialized mental health service dedicated to infants and children transitioning from regional health services. Our team utilizes audio-visual and telephone methods to provide comprehensive assessments and brief interventions for children and adolescents (0-18 years), along with support for their families and carers.

The service model focuses on providing aftercare following initial presentations and facilitating the transition to community mental health supports, working closely with regional services to ensure timely, responsive, and accessible care for communities.
