Senior Leadership Opportunity

Darwin is seeking an exceptional Senior Leader to join a passionate team in Darwin.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-established, nature-based service known for its high-quality early childhood education and care.

About the Role
  • Support overall leadership and management of the centre
  • Ensure high-quality programming aligned with best practices and standards
  • Promote regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and mentor professionals, fostering a culture of professional growth and development
  • Strengthen relationships with families and the local community
  • Deputise for the Centre Director as required
  • Support curriculum development, assessments, and professional development aligned with organisational goals and objectives
Key Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (approved)
  • At least 1 year in a senior role (e.g. Room Leader or Senior Leader)
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence to act as the Responsible Person and support all operational areas in the Director's absence
  • Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC (Ochre Card), and accredited Child Protection training
