Base pay range A$247,170.00/yr - A$247,170.00/yr Executive Officer Contract 2- Remuneration Package Range $247,170 Darwin One Fixed vacancy is available.
An Executive contract of up to 2 years may be offered.
This executive role requires a deep and contemporary understanding of the technical, commercial, and regulatory operating environment of Australia's electricity industry, with insight into both current challenges and emerging developments at the local and national levels.
You will bring extensive experience navigating this complex landscape to inform sound strategic decision-making and policy development.
You will possess highly developed strategic, conceptual and analytical capabilities, with a proven ability to shape organisational direction and consistently deliver results—on time and within budget.
Your leadership and management experience will include demonstrated strengths in strategic policy development, project and budget oversight, workforce leadership and planning, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
A critical component of this role involves exceptional written communication skills, with a proven ability to prepare high-quality correspondence, Cabinet submissions and briefings on complex and sensitive matters for senior executives and Ministers.
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with clarity and impact are essential.
Your interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills will be second to none.
You will be confident in building and maintaining productive relationships across government, industry and the community, and influencing stakeholders to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
