Strategic Program Governance Specialist

The Program Governance Lead plays a pivotal role in coordinating the Multi Class Sustainment (MCS) Reporting Team to deliver MCS Programs successfully.
This newly rescoped role requires collaboration across all areas of the business unit, promoting consistent program delivery, informed decision-making, and transparent performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement governance frameworks across MCS programs
- Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting and dashboards
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitate governance committees and manage decision/action registers
- Engage stakeholders through targeted communication and collaboration
- Maintain governance calendars and documentation
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven leadership and governance experience
- A strong understanding of program delivery methodologies
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills
- The ability to lead without micromanaging and act autonomously
- Experience managing teams and acting in higher duties
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
You must currently hold:
- A current National Police Clearance
- An Australian Defence Security Clearance
