Job Opportunity

As a skilled Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to connect with our global team of experts within a large and well-established international consultancy.

This role is focused on the structural design of buildings, including inspections, assessments, and reporting. You will work collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Design: Conduct structural designs for various types of buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects from conception to completion.
  • Project Management: Lead teams to ensure successful project delivery, coordinating resources and managing timelines to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits, inspecting structures, and performing assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-6 years' experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proven expertise in building design projects, with knowledge of various building materials and systems.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
