Oil & Gas Maintenance Specialist - Darwin

Wood Plc, a leading provider of consulting and engineering services, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Workpack Preparers (E&I) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory.

We are looking for individuals who are Australian citizens or eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be currently based in Darwin or willing to relocate to Darwin. A suitably qualified Electrical & Instrumentation engineer from a recognized institution or tertiary qualification will also be considered along with 5+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia working within multidiscipline fields.

This role offers a salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 AUD per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have:

  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in a role of commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team
  • Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organize and manage large project scopes
  • Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure, while delivering within a challenging and complex environment
  • A 'solutions mindset' embracing innovation and an agile approach to project delivery and team leadership
