Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing test, repair, and fitting of various sized mining and industrial electrical cables in compliance with Australian Standards.

Tasks will include working as part of an established workshop team, learning the end-to-end process of cable repair and manufacture, and maintaining quality work every time.

  1. You will produce high-quality work under tight deadlines in a busy workshop environment.
  2. Hand and cutting tools are used daily, requiring you to maintain your safety and attention to detail.
Requirements

We are seeking a Trades Assistant to work out of our Unanderra operation on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate must have:

  • A NSW Drivers License
  • Ability to work diligently in a heavy industrial environment
  • Strong hand tool skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
