About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our workshop team as a Cable Repair Technician. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in the end-to-end process of cable repairing and manufacturing.
This is a rare opportunity for someone with good hand and tool skills to work on a variety of sized mining and industrial electrical cables, adhering to Australian Standards.
The role involves performing tests, repairs, and fittings of cables, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
You will need to be reliable, available to work full-time hours, and willing to train into a niche field. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Key Requirements:
- Nationally Recognised Training or willingness to obtain
- NSW Drivers License
- Able to work diligently in a heavy industrial environment
- Strong hand tool skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
