Senior Mammography Lead

We are seeking a suitably qualified Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team as the Mammography Lead/Supervisor in a newly created position, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and productivity across the region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with Regional Manager, CMIT's and Breast Screen Victoria to plan and manage the workforce requirements, including staff rostering, annual leave planning, and managing sick and other leave as required.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinic.
  • Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging department.
  • Provide quality improvement initiatives and review work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage, coach, and lead clinic staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations employing correct techniques to industry standards or above.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other personnel verbally and in writing.
