Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Security Operations Manager to oversee the security of our cloud infrastructure in Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience managing security of large critical installations, ideally data centres, and possess strong leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of uniformed security personnel and management of day-to-day security operations
  • Collaboration with customers and internal teams to develop new processes and deploy new technology
  • Development, tracking, and driving key security metrics, including program reviews and testing security controls
  • Overseeing the work of vendors, contractors, and internal employees to ensure security requirements are met
  • Presentation of operational procedures and results to senior leadership across the organisation and customers

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic operational environments driven by changing customer requirements and evolving security threats
  • Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metrics
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with customers and meet short notice deadlines
