**Teaching and Research Opportunity in Public Health Medicine:**

We seek a Public Health Medicine academic to contribute to our teaching and research activities, shaping future health leaders and driving impactful research.

The successful candidate will be based at our Geelong campus and be involved in teaching and learning activities in the Doctor of Medicine course.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Education and Employability:
    • Maintain deep discipline knowledge applied to inform unit design
    • Lead teaching teams to develop effective unit curricula and learning resources
    • Make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of Indigenous Health learning and assessment activities
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Initiate, design, and conduct productive, high-quality research and scholarship activities generating high impact outputs
    • Engage collaboratively to develop novel and high-quality research or creative activities
    • Ensure impact of academic activity in the field and the community
  • University Citizenship and Engagement:
    • Support and promote cultural awareness training for staff and students to develop understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
    • Assist the implementation of local citizenship activities and contribute to effectiveness as influencer

Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience, with a strong record of scholarly learning and teaching, research, and community engagement.
