Job Summary

This role involves leading the People and Culture function for a 4.5-star property in Sydney's Inner West.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and talent management to ensure a strong and motivated workforce
  • Engagement strategies to foster positive relationships between managers and staff
  • Workers compensation, return-to-work programs, and workplace health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment
  • Training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth opportunities
  • Performance reviews, employee relations, and coaching leaders to handle challenges with fairness and care
  • HR systems and compliance to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in hotels, resorts, or fast-paced hospitality environments
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide guidance to leaders during challenging situations
  • Approachable and visible leadership style, not confined to an office
  • Balancing detail-oriented work with the human aspects of HR
  • Career progression potential towards a Cluster HR Manager role
