Environmental Approvals Specialist Role
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an Environmental Approvals Specialist to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis and advice on environmental regulatory developments to support business activities.
- Provide expert analysis and advice on environmental regulatory developments.
- Develop and implement environmental approval strategies to effectively support project activities.
- Facilitate the scoping of environmental baseline and technical studies to support project environmental risk/impact assessments.
- Undertake assessment of environmental risk factors associated with project activities.
- Lead engagement with environmental regulatory authorities to progress environmental risk/impact assessments and approvals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian environment legislation and experience with progressing primary environmental approvals for hydrocarbon projects.
Requirements- Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Risk Management or a relevant field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiable hourly pay rate.
