Residential Life Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Residential Life Coordinator.

As a key member of our residential team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastoral care and residential life program for our residents at the University of Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support in managing and developing the residential life program.
  • Manage a diverse calendar of events for residents while balancing core areas of support and resident interests.
  • Participate in the emergency response team during shift times and after-hours.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a community role supporting students or similar exposure to the health and wellbeing of young people.
  • A strong interest in supporting a robust events and activities program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and solid planning and organisational abilities.
  • A 'we care' attitude and passion for interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.

Additional Requirements

In addition to the above requirements, you must:

  • Hold a National Police Check (completed within last 3 months).
  • Have an unrestricted work rights in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Pass a Working with Children's Check.
