Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Communications Advisor to support our General Manager. This role will provide an opportunity to work across a wide portfolio in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As part of our communications team, you will be responsible for maintaining corporate reputation and brand, working across corporate communications, public relations, risk management, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing stories and supporting media enquiries
  • Hosting media and stakeholders at times
  • Leveraging sponsorships - sporting and charitable
  • Providing publicity for on-site events
  • Preparing daily reports on SkyCity's media coverage
  • Developing strategies to promote SkyCity Adelaide as an entertainment destination

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Strong attitude and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to learn and good understanding of the media landscape
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to seek out and manage PR opportunities
  • Strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders and media
