Senior Maintenance Operations Manager

Lead a high-performing team supporting aircraft maintenance operations.

Drive efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across planning and execution. Work with iconic aircraft in a dynamic environment.

This role is accountable for delivering on-time, efficient, and high-quality maintenance outcomes through effective planning and coordination.

You will manage a team of Planners and work collaboratively with operational teams, supply chain, and commercial planning to support business performance.

Your focus will be on aircraft maintenance planning, safety, and continuous improvement while leading the team with a positive approach.

  • Lead production planning for base maintenance day-to-day activities ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with coordinators and managers to ensure timely aircraft maintenance delivery.
  • Oversee planning schedules, resource allocation, and risk management across multiple maintenance lines.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the leadership team on work in progress, milestones, and performance.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage staff development, performance, and team engagement.

You will bring:

  • 7 years' experience in aircraft maintenance or related activity, including leadership of planning teams.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and heavy maintenance environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for safety, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
