Strategic Operations Manager

The Strategic Operations Manager will play a vital role in the efficient and effective management of day-to-day operations. This is a permanent, full-time appointment that requires a leader who understands the dynamics of university ecosystems.
About the RoleThis appointment involves leading and managing business operations, ensuring the delivery of services to support activities by liaising with University service groups and implementing School services and processes as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the operational teams in achieving strategic objectives.
- Liaise with academics and university policies to deliver sustainable operations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and management of administrative teams, including recruitment processes, staff engagement, and performance reviews.
- Develop and review strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Faculty and University priorities.
- Ensure effective communication within the School and with external stakeholders.
- Support academic activities, including travel and grant budgets.
