Operational Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Leader to lead the implementation of health, safety, environment, and quality management systems. The successful candidate will drive strategic objectives and targets to elevate performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of HSEQ&T systems and strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
  • Initiate new projects to enhance HSEQ&T practices and review management systems.
  • Support audit and risk review processes, and develop compelling submissions for tenders and expressions of interest.
  • Implement training outcomes to ensure high-quality operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant field such as Safety, Health, Environment or similar.
  • 10+ years' experience in the mining industry.
  • 8+ years' experience in a Senior HSEQ leadership role.
  • Proven track record of implementing statutory compliance and working in Underground operations.
