**Job Summary**

Automated API Test Engineer Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on the development of our flagship XCore API platform, focusing on robust and scalable QA automation practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, maintain and extend automated API test suites using Python (PyTest) for robust coverage across endpoints, workflows, and integrations.
  • Execute and automate REST API tests using Postman, including collections, environment variables, and pre/post-request scripts.
  • Accelerate requirements analysis, test design, automation, code review, test-data generation and AI tool scouting while maintaining a clear, testable spec with product and engineering teams.
  • Understand and reinforce the business value of the product goals.
  • Review developers' code, requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience with strong hands-on API test automation (UI automation not required).
  • Proficiency in Python with PyTest for API test automation (essential).
  • Proven experience in REST API testing (e.g., Postman) and solid understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture.
  • Hands-on use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc.) for requirements analysis, test design, and automation code.
