Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks that are essential for ensuring software quality and reliability.
As part of an exciting new project, you will build a test automation framework using PlayWright.
A crucial aspect of this is fostering close collaboration with developers, test analysts, business analysts, and DevOps.
Additionally, you will support team members to enhance their automation skills, improving the overall testing process.
The ideal candidate will have a background working within agile delivery models and have extensive experience across various testing methodologies.
This role requires expertise in automating back-end APIs, front-end applications and end-to-end testing.
Expertise using Playwright for front-end testing is essential.
Additionally, experience with Cucumber for behaviour driven style tests and SuperTest for testing APIs, will be highly regarded.
NOTE: There are two full time roles available with one being a 12-month contract role and the other is a Permanent Full Time Role.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) Implement and optimise test automation scripts using PlayWright and SuperTest.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and test analysts to maximise test coverage and identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
Monitor and analyze test execution results, investigate defects, and collaborate with teams to efficiently resolve issues.
