Job Title

Sustainable Development Specialist.


The role focuses on providing expertise in waste and resource management across various projects. This includes strategic advisory work, policy advice for government authorities, feasibility studies, and high-level design advice.


Responsibilities
  • Advise state and federal government authorities on policy and regulatory matters related to waste and resource management.
  • Develop waste management plans at building, precinct, master plan, and strategic levels.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews of proposed waste management infrastructure.
  • Manage Due Diligence studies, including technical and commercial elements.
  • Review and provide input on designs related to waste management and services such as transport planning and logistics.
  • Research emerging waste technologies and practices globally.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience in waste and resource management infrastructure.
  • Understanding of waste and resources within the context of other infrastructure projects and government policies.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Numerical skills and ability to manipulate data and construct complex models using MS Excel.
