Job Role Overview

This position requires a high-skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to deliver exceptional person-centred clinical nursing care in the cancer setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading practice innovation, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and providing expert consultation and educational support to multidisciplinary teams, patients, and family members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex and high-quality nursing care within oncology areas of practice.
  • Manage cancer patients across various tumour groups, collaborating with stream specialists to ensure safe treatment plans.
  • Act as a professional role model, providing client advocacy and leadership within multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Provide supervision and support for less experienced clinicians, maintaining accountability and fostering professional growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Post-registration qualification and at least 3 years' experience in the specified clinical area.
