
Cancer Care Leader

Are you ready to take on a leadership role in cancer care? This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse to join our team as a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical care, coordinating complex breast cancer care across settings, and using evidence-based pathways and validated assessment tools.
This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity to provide advanced nursing practice, guiding best practice, developing and reviewing clinical guidelines, and modelling advanced nursing skills.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse who can work collaboratively with oncology, palliative care, allied health and community services to build strong links and advocate for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical care and coordinate complex breast cancer care
- Guide best practice and develop/review clinical guidelines
- Participate in service & workforce planning and contribute to strategic direction
- Provide education and mentoring to colleagues and support professional development of the broader cancer nursing team
- Build collaborative partnerships with various healthcare services
- Advocate for patients and raise awareness about breast cancer support services
