**Feed Mill Technician Role**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Feed Mill Technician to join our production team. As a key member of our operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality animal feed products.

  • The successful candidate will operate and maintain our feed mill equipment, including performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • You will also be responsible for receiving commodities into the mill, safely and efficiently loading feed onto trucks, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • In addition, you will test grain samples to ensure quality standards are met, and drive feed body trucks on-site to deliver feed to farm sites.
  • Your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills will enable you to perform a variety of physical tasks, including heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in dirty or dusty environments.

About You...

  • We require a valid Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck with sufficient operational experience.
  • You must be physically fit and able to work at heights, with a 'can-do' attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for Agriculture is essential, along with basic computer skills and literacy/numeracy abilities.
  • You will work cooperatively and efficiently to meet daily requirements, being accountable for your work and demonstrating a commitment to quality and safety.

Requirements**

  • You must have a genuine interest in working in a rural area, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
  • Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills are required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • No jewellery may be worn on the job site except for medical ID jewellery.
