Community Outreach Supervisor

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a connection assistance service at Ballarat railway station, catering to individuals with mobility challenges. This project is a collaborative effort between Travellers Aid and V/Line, aimed at enhancing community access.

To succeed in this role, you must be a hands-on individual with a flexible attitude, able to build relationships and create an inclusive environment.

  • Experience working with diverse communities and individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to oversee or guide staff/volunteers
  • A personal care qualification or equivalent, such as Certificate IV in Disability studies or nursing studies, is essential

This role plays a pivotal part in establishing a strong volunteer base, ensuring the project's successful roll-out and ongoing delivery. You will work closely with Travellers Aid's Operations Manager and V/Line stakeholders to achieve this goal.
