About the Role

As a Work Health Safety Business Partner at Newcastle Anglican, you will play a crucial role in enhancing risk management practices and ensuring safe work environments. This full-time opportunity is based primarily in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie NSW.

The Opportunity

Join our team to analyse hazard and incident data, identify improvement opportunities, and promote safety systems. Your expertise will contribute to creating a culture of safety and wellbeing within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves:

  • Analyzing hazard and incident data to inform decision-making
  • Identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Promoting safety systems and best practices across the organisation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation and its application
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing WHS programs
