Personal Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Support clients with daily activities, such as completing scheduled visits on the road and interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping and other errands.
  • Assist with community-based recreational and social activities to enhance client engagement and enjoyment.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured vehicle for work - Essential
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
