Job Overview

Puppuccino Pet Spa is seeking a skilled Dog Training Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality training services to our clients.


About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and caring for dogs during training, transport, and other activities
  • Conduct assessments of dog behavior and temperament
  • Develop and implement tailored training plans for individual dogs
  • Train dogs in basic obedience, advanced commands, and/or specific tasks
  • Use positive reinforcement and humane training techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress, behavior assessments, and health needs
  • Clean and maintain kennels, grooming equipment, and training facilities
  • Monitor dog health and behavior and report any concerns to veterinarians or supervisors
  • Educate and advise dog owners or handlers on training techniques and behavioral strategies

Requirements and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in professional dog training/handling (or certified via CCPDT, IACP, etc.). Essential skills include canine body language, positive reinforcement, crisis management, physical ability to lift 20kg+, stand for hours, and work outdoors. Preferred certifications include CPDT-KA, Delta Institute, or similar. A patient, communicative, and passionate personality is also essential for this role
