Water Industry Executive Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Water Industry Executive Operations Manager to lead our operations and technical services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service processes, workflows, and asset lifecycle planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead operational and technical service delivery to ensure water quality standards and supply continuity.
  2. Manage service processes, workflows, and asset lifecycle planning to achieve organizational goals.
  3. Promote a safe working environment and ensure WHS compliance.
  4. Serve as an escalation point for technical issues.
  5. Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource management.
  6. Drive organizational change, digital innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a minimum of 5 years' experience in water utilities.
  • Project management experience in engineering and asset renewal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including emergencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience with team motivation and organizational change.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage budgets and stakeholder relationships.
