Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, build and optimize high-performance backend storage solutions on cloud infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in developing distributed storage systems, APIs and backend services that power mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in designing and developing scalable and resilient backend systems. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production incidents related to data integrity, latency spikes and storage failures.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including principal engineers, architects, SREs and product teams to define technical roadmaps and improve storage efficiency. The selected candidate will also contribute to infrastructure automation, security best practices and monitoring strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deploy high-performance backend storage solutions on cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop distributed storage systems, APIs and backend services that power mission-critical applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to data integrity, latency spikes and storage failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and improve storage efficiency.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation, security best practices and monitoring strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud services, particularly AWS cloud services.
  • Strong programming skills in Kotlin.
  • Experience working in agile environments following DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
