Job Title: Ultrasound Special Skills Term - 2023

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Ultrasound Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to develop and broaden your skills in emergency point-of-care ultrasound, focusing on image acquisition and optimisation.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continual enhancement of ultrasound education and research, and possess appropriate knowledge and skills in emergency medicine. You will be responsible for assessing patients, analysing information, and formulating investigation and treatment plans, while maintaining accurate medical records and communicating effectively with staff.

This role offers additional opportunities for accredited ED training, paediatric logbook completion, ultrasound and medical education special skills terms, and access to non-ED terms like general medicine and paediatrics. Critical care terms like ICU and Anaesthetics are also available, as well as research activities under the supervision of a dedicated director of research.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Broaden Skills: Develop and broaden your skills in emergency point-of-care ultrasound, focusing on image acquisition and optimisation.
  2. Contribute to Ultrasound Education and Research: Contribute to the continual enhancement of ultrasound education and research.
  3. Maintain Accurate Medical Records: Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with staff.
