Job Description">

The Manager, Strategic Tourism Development is responsible for creating and implementing impactful tourism strategies and projects that attract visitors from both domestic and international markets.

This role focuses on leading destination-wide strategic initiatives, including identifying and planning major tourism investments and iconic projects that align with the South Australian Tourism Plan 2030 objectives.

A key aspect of this position is to develop strong relationships with government and private partners to influence the creation of memorable tourism experiences.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases and policy recommendations for high-value tourism developments.">
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to create unique products and experiences that support the various South Australian brand pillars.">
  • Provide guidance and leadership to enhance industry capabilities and increase sales effectiveness across all distribution channels.">
  • Conduct research to identify product and experience gaps, implementing solutions to meet visitor expectations.">
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with government and private partners to drive conversion of tourism experiences.">
