About this role

This is a hands-on position that involves operating and setting various production machinery used in the manufacture of wire thread insert fastening systems. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and be part of a high-performing production team.

Key responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare tooling (mandrels, cutters) using hand tools and bench-top equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting tasks.
  • Ensure all safety and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
We're looking for someone with
  • a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to set machinery within tight tolerances.
  • Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Certificate III in Process Manufacturing (desired).
  • To be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
