Job Overview:

This role entails overseeing the implementation of safety and security protocols during the development and construction phase.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all necessary safety measures are taken and applied throughout the D&C phase
  • Support risk management processes
  • Contribute to the production of management plans
  • Participate in configuration management activities
  • Conduct thorough safety analyses and assurance
  • Review and assess the System Safety Assurance Plan
  • Examine Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) and System Hazard Log (SHL) at system level, Sub-System Hazard Identification (SSHI), Sub-System Hazard Analysis (SSHA), and Sub-System Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Human Factor: Contribute to the human factor process, review, and assess human factor issues, contribute in ergonomic with assistance from SMEs (operation, maintenance), and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability): Review mission profile including parameters like technical versus non-technical used for the baseline of the system, control and monitor asset data register to define installed assets baseline, and define, control, and monitor Life Cycle Cost
  • Follow-up and assess the development of RAM studies and KPI simulation, review outcomes of RAM reports with a focus on system failure performance, MTBF (asset performance), and MTTR (Time to Restore the function/Service), and contribute to the development of SPMS (System Performance Monitoring System)
  • Any other related duties

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. with Physics / Electronics / Power Supply / Computer Science
  • English language proficiency (Fluent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in railway environment - Driverless metro will be an advantage
  • Essential skills: Experience in RAMS processes and assessments, and assurance processes including hazard analysis, verification, and validation
  • Desirable skills: Experience in Safety Analysis and Assurance Security Quality Assurance System assurance
