Remote Village Line Chef Opportunity

This role offers a unique blend of adventure and responsibility, with the opportunity to join our team as a Line Chef in a remote village. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled chef who can lead our culinary team with confidence and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bulk/batch cooking, with experience working in remote villages and managing kitchen staff. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels.
Requirements- 3+ years' experience as a chef in a remote village (FIFO or DIDO)
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and workplace safety systems
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen environment
- $45.78 per hour + night shift allowance
- Super paid on all rostered hours
