Our client, a leading public sector entity, is seeking an experienced Revenue Finance Manager to join their team in Brisbane.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage the department's transactional finance function, ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable financial performance. This includes providing advice on new revenue opportunities, keeping the team updated on relevant legislation and policy changes affecting revenue, analysing own-source revenue performance against KPIs, and contributing to the development of policies to ensure revenue processes are optimized and compliant with regulations.
A key aspect of this role is establishing a system for ongoing review of business processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, as well as advocating for the use of technology to improve the revenue cycle and drive growth. The successful candidate will also define and track KPIs to assess the performance of the revenue teams and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience in managing large finance teams, a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end functions of transactional finance, strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation, excellent analytical and leadership skills, high proficiency in financial software and databases, and strong communication skills.
