Role Summary

As a Business Services Manager at Charter Diligence, you will be a functional lead for a Tax and Advisory division in Sydney, focusing on private businesses and business services. This position requires a professional adept at guiding business leaders through the complexities of operations management, tax compliance, competitive analysis, and strategic exits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of SME to SGE clients, providing strategic advice and practical solutions to their business challenges.
  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with clients, guiding them through business lifecycle events with innovative tax and commercial strategies.
  • Mentor and support a team of dedicated professionals, fostering an environment of growth and excellence.
  • Partner with Senior Managers to support business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and areas for specialisation within the Private Business sector.
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to deliver a holistic service offering to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Professional accreditation (CA/CPA) or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in business advisory, with a focus on Private Clients, including supporting leadership and strategic project management roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability in functional or skills based management, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
