Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements for diverse industries, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
  • Prepare income tax returns for a range of entities, including companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Conduct tax planning for clients and provide advice on business operations and regulatory matters.
  • Deliver a variety of business and tax advisory services.
  • As a new Senior Accountant, assist junior staff and clients, or, if an Accountant, collaborate closely with Senior Accountants and Managers on client engagements.
  • Manage more complex tasks and a higher volume of advisory work.
Requirements
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various levels and teams within the organisation while delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in Australian taxation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work approach.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Currently pursuing a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and/or Xero is desirable.
