We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability, and will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this role.
The successful applicant will work within a residential setting, providing direct care and promoting positive family relationships and community connections.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe and nurturing home-like environments for young people
- Promoting positive family relationships and community connections
- Working within a trauma-informed framework to support young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. You will work collaboratively with a high-performing Youth Support Team to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent
- Mandatory Top-Up Units Residential Care (4 Modules)
- Valid Australian full driver's licence
- Valid Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications
