We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Maida Vale, where you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that involves working with children from 0-5 years in a purpose-built service with long-standing educators. You will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment, planning and implementing educational programs, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the National Quality Framework
Requirements:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education and care
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- A current Working with Children Check in Western Australia
