Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy: Provide high-level leadership and management in the initiation, development, implementation, and evaluation of Metro North Health-wide allied health strategies and plans to address recruitment, retention, workforce capacity, and capability.
- Strategic Direction: Provide expert-level strategic direction and vision in aligning local, state, and national allied health and health system priorities to solve complex, large-scale workforce and model of care challenges with MNH Directors of Allied Health and Profession Leads.
- Reporting and Communication: Develop high-quality reports, submissions, plans, and consultative documents on a broad range of complex workforce planning, service provision, and management issues to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders at all levels within Metro North Health and external agencies.
- Negotiation and Influence: Use high-level negotiation, influence, conflict management, advocacy, and change management skills to achieve key performance indicators and strategic directions for allied health across MNH and key portfolios of the role.
- Operational Management: Operational management and strategic leadership of the Behavioural Emergency Response Team.
