Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the physical, psychological, and social needs of clients.
  • Design, implement, and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured workers to achieve successful return to work outcomes.
  • Perform worksite assessments and ergonomic assessments.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, medical practitioners, and insurers.
  • Provide advice to clients and their support networks on injury management, prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Conduct case conferences and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to rehabilitation.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff and participate in the ongoing professional development of the team.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation, including experience in providing rehabilitation services to injured workers and conducting worksite assessments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to clients' workplaces.
