About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Canberra and Toowoomba. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children with autism spectrum disorder, their families, and carers to provide specialist therapy support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder in an early intervention setting.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, families, and external providers to develop Individual Plans to support children to develop play, social, motor, and self-help skills.
  • Contribute to arranging and maintaining the indoor/outdoor areas in a visually stimulating, safe, and hygienic condition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • QLD: Ability to obtain Positive Blue Card.
  • ACT: Positive Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder in an early intervention setting.
  • Experience in working with children with autism spectrum disorder is desired.
  • Knowledge of typically developing children from birth to school-aged children is desired.
