Atlas Recruitment is seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join their team at George's On Broadbeach.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment and possess strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
Following recipes and presentation specifications to ensure dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
Collaborating with the culinary team to support menu development and daily specials.
Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Managing stock levels and assisting with inventory management.
Supporting senior kitchen staff in their daily tasks and contributing to a positive team environment.
Ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Requirements:
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for delivering high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Salary: $70,000-$90,000
