About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Casual Cook to join our team at Kurrawa Surf Club. As a Casual Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of meals to the highest standard, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals to order, using only the freshest ingredients
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and quality
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard, adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve a smooth and efficient service
  • Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new ideas and dishes to enhance our culinary offerings
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and quality
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
