Hitachi Mechanic Role

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in Northern QLD. This is a permanent full-time position focusing on diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting.

This role involves working with Hitachi machinery, performing all aspects of maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, excellent technical skills, and experience working with heavy machinery.

The successful applicant will also be required to possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Safety is a top priority in this role, and we encourage applicants who share our commitment to a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of diesel engines and other mechanical components
  • Perform routine checks and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Liaise with colleagues and management to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication
Requirements:
  • Australian mechanic trade qualifications
  • Technical and mechanical experience/aptitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
