We are currently seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our production team as an Assembly Technician. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment assembling and testing precision micro-optical and electromechanical systems.

About the Role

This position requires a high level of manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision assembly techniques, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities
  1. Assemble complex components following detailed work instructions.
  2. Operate custom automation equipment for precision assembly processes.
  3. Troubleshoot sub-assemblies and report quality issues.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams for prototype builds.
Requirements
  • A High School Certificate or technical certification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Optical Technology/Photonics, or Precision Manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
  • Expertise in precision assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and follow complex work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with clean room operations (desirable).
